A (Enoch) was born in Babylon and grew up there. He followed
the religion of Islam, which was the original religion,
as preached by Adam A (Adam).
People
of Idris A (Enoch) had turned away from the religion
of Allah (God). He called his people back to his forefathers
religion, but only a very few listened to him. Majority of
his people had turned away from the religion of Allah
(God) and did not listen to his preachings. They forced him
and his followers out of Babylon.
Idris
A (Enoch) and his followers left for Misr (Egypt).
Idris A (Enoch) called the people of Misr (Egypt)
to the path of Allah (God). He taught them how to pray
to Allah (God) and asked them to fast on certain days
and to pay Zakah to the poor and needy.
Allah
(God) has praised Idris A (Enoch) in the Holy Qur-an
